¡Hola! I'm Loli.

I'm an Argentine Spanish teacher living in Cumberland, BC, and the person behind Hola Comox Valley.

I created Hola because I wanted learning a language to feel less like sitting through grammar lessons and more like what language is really for:

connecting with people.

I also know what it feels like to learn another language as an adult. I didn't start speaking English until I was 26.

So if you understand more Spanish than you can speak, freeze when someone asks you a question, or feel like you need to be "better" before you start talking — I get it.

My classes are a place to try, make mistakes, laugh about them and keep going.

Because that's how we learn.
